La Wuandia

La Wuandia, is a multi-talented Singer/Songwriter.  Her riveting performance, which consist of a complex mixture of Soulful Ballads of yesterday and today, Jazz along with Traditional R&B amaze her diverse audiences.  This talented performer began her professional career in the 90's after taking part in an Open Mic event at the Cotton Club (Chicago), where she received a three minute standing ovation to a hard to please audience.  There she also was encouraged by the late actor/singer Jimmy Spinks to return,  from which he exposed her to a number of bands and venues.  This exposure created a seasoned vocalist, who can by way of her heartfelt emotional performance reach and satisfy the musical pallet of any audience who appreciates "Real Singing."

La Wuandia engages in Jazz, R&B, Blues and has exploded into Country Music, with  tributes to legends like Patsy Cline, Loretta Lynn, Wynonna Judd & K.D. Lang.
